By popular demand: the english subtitles for our two part interview series with swedish rock band In Solitude are done! (mer…)
This spring In Solitude took a break from recording their third album, ”Sister”, to show us one of their favorite places in the world: the 400 year old Uppsala castle ruin.
When the clock struck midnight (exactly 446 years after the crazy king Erik XIV of Sweden went on a killing spree through the castle) the band performed two songs for us: ”A Buried Sun” and ”Jesus i betong”, a cover of swedish punk band Cortex.
Watch both episodes, including the songs and the bonus material where the band speaks about meeting some of their idols, below.
Thanks to Vasaborgen, who opened their doors to us and trusted us not to burn the place to the ground. And a special thanks to our foreign friends: Shawn Macomber and Decibel for the concert clips, and Sanna Charles and Ester Segerra for the photos.
