Greetings international music lovers! Below you’ll find an excerpt from our current interview series ”On the Dark Side of Uppsala”, featuring swedish heavy metal band In Solitude.
Early this spring we travelled to Uppsala, where In Solitude showed us their favorite place in their hometown: the castle ruin of the blood thirsty king Erik XIV.
As the clock struck 12 – exactly 446 years after the king orchestrated a bloodbath in the very room where we stood – the band played us the song ”Jesus i Betong”. Originally written by swedish punks Cortex, the cover was recently released as a b-side of In Solitude’s new 7″ single ”Lavender”.
After some requests from our non-swedish speaking followers, we’re currently working on english subtitles for the series, so keep track of THIS LINK for future updates.
